“Aren’t you scared?”
said the sea to the stone,
“To crumble and turn into dust?
Eroding away,
to be gone someday…
does it hurt? ‘Cause it seems like it must.”

“I’m not scared”
said the stone to the sea
“You live a long time as a stone.
To crumble away
to be gone someday
scares me less than an aeon alone.”
